VMVC President's Rant
Hello All,
WELCOME to the post COROWA edition of my President’s Rant. I won’t go too much into the events and happening’s of Corowa as I’m sure there will be plenty of articles submitted on the subject by our eager members.
One thing I will say is that the VMVC was the best represented Club there, not only did we have a huge amount of members and vehicles turn up, but we also had some V.I.P guests attend from the U.S.A and the United Kingdom.
Ron and Dave from the State’s who represented the well known Jeep web site “G.503”, and Oliver from the Bovington Tank Museum in England. From all accounts it’s understood that the guest’s had a great time and enjoyed themselves to a great extent thanks to the hospitality of the VMVC members who invited them to Corowa, again I’m sure the in-depth articles on the subject are being written up right now to include in our news letter!
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all of the members who introduced themselves to me to say hello and have a bit of a chat. From the positive feedback received it seems that you are happy with the way the club is progressing, this is due largely to the strong team I have behind me that are working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen, speaking of go-getters!!, V.P. Rod came up to Corowa with the new VMVC T-shirts that are fantastic, our international guests were presented with a shirt each to wear proudly back home. Go on, get one yourself and show your support!!
Apart from some early gearbox niggles and low oil pressure problems on the way home, I managed to make it this year without being towed back!
This time it's not me needing a tow! (Sorry Paul)
Well I hope everyone had a great time and made the trip home back safely, Full marks to Jan and her KVE team for putting on such a
Fantastic event once again, I don’t know about you lot but I’m already counting down the days till the next Corowa!!
REMEMBER, Register for ANZAC Day...A.S.A.P!!

President VMVC.
